GUILTY (how did this happen?)

I never thought it would happen to me. I don't do stuff like this . . . at least I didn't before. And yet, somehow, I found myself there. I tried to resist. I was doing so well.

I held out for as long as I could. In fact, I resisted the temptation for years. And then it happened.

I caught just a glimpse of him. And heard just the fewest of words come from his lips.

And I was hooked.

And so now, I confess . . . I watched "American Idol" for the very first time tonight. Only because I just had to see Taylor Hicks, and hear him croon.

And now I'm hooked on Hicks.

Dammit.
